This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Is it possible for someone to learn, what the bitcoin is, in 5 minutes? What does the bitcoin means as an emerging path? Antonis tries, in his pitch talk to give answers to those questions.

Antonis Tsakoumis was born in Athens – Greece and from his early youth has expressed an intense adoration towards smart electronic devices. In the late 80′s he got his first computer (Amstrad 6128) where he started writing C code. After finishing high school he continued his studies moving to Information Technology. He’s been working in IT related industries ever since getting his diploma in 1996. In 2012 he founded, the first Bitcoin related news site in Greece. In 2013 he arranged the first Bitcoin meeting in Athens Greece and in 2014 he attended the second Bitcoin
meeting in Patras.
